Jacquelyn graduated from the University of San Francisco (USF) in 2017, where she studied Sociology and Asian American Studies. During her time at USF, she worked in several research assistant positions and wrote an honors thesis that used qualitative methods to examine an Asian American youth subculture. Her experience working at several non-profit organizations, ranging from media and education to social justice and community building, helped prepare her for her role as a research assistant at Empirical Education. Currently, she’s supporting research managers and analysts with the evaluation of Collaboration and Reflection to Enhance Atlanta Teacher Effectiveness (CREATE). She is excited to be on the team, because Empirical Education's research aligns with her goals of improving education, using data-driven research, and making a difference in society.
