Mayah Waltower is a graduate of Mercer University where she majored in International Affairs and minored in Spanish. While at Mercer, Mayah was able to take advantage of several research opportunities to explore economics, politics, and international policy. Recently, Mayah worked as an Intellectual Property and Litigation case assistant at Alston & Bird. In this role, she supported the work of the Patent Litigation team in trying cases at the International Trade Commission and the Eastern District of Texas. At Empirical Education, Mayah is supporting the evaluation of the CREATE program’s work in Atlanta Public Schools, a project invested in expanding equity in education by developing critically conscious, compassionate, and skilled educators.
